USF DASHBOARD for COVID-19 Cases
2021 - Fall Academic Terms
The University of Sioux Falls is committed to sharing accurate data indicating the number of known cases of COVID-19 for students and employees. This information will be updated as frequently as possible, and the report date is noted.
The two categories of self-reported data include:
- Current COVID Positive: Total number of current (active) cases of USF students and employees (on and off campus) who have tested positive for COVID-19.
- Current Quarantine/Isolation: Total number of USF employees and students who are currently in quarantine or isolation (this includes students who live on-campus, off-campus, or have returned home to their permanent residences).
The University of Sioux Falls has chosen to conservatively address the quarantining of close contacts to mitigate the risk to our community. Quarantine includes students who are living both on and off-campus.

* Isolation is for people who have tested positive or have symptoms of COVID-19. Following guidelines from the CDC, USF separates sick people from people who are not sick.
**Quarantine is for people who are not sick, but are a close contact and may have been exposed to COVID-19. Following guidelines from the CDC, USF separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to COVID-19 to see if they become sick.
